The River House was listed on the national historic registry in 1992, and remains the oldest commercial structure in the town of Bandon, Oregon. It was built in 1905 by cobbler Michael Breuer who housed his retail outlet for "boots, shoes and gents furnishings" in what was then known as the Breuer Building.

From both levels of this home you can view the Coquille River and its lighthouse as well as the Pacific Ocean.  Enjoy sunrises, sunsets and exciting storms from the living room by the fireplace or from the banks of the river in the backyard.  Five bedrooms with enough beds to sleep at least nine. Two baths including a Jacuzzi tub with a gorgeous view of the river.
